WE ARE FHAB!

Friends of H.A. Brown (FHAB) is a community of parents, educators, and neighbors dedicated to enriching the educational experience at H.A. Brown Elementary School. Through advocacy, fundraising, and volunteer efforts, we provide resources and opportunities that support academic, social, and creative growth in a diverse and inclusive environment.

Friends of H.A. Brown is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

GUIDING PRINCIPLES

At the heart of everything we do are three core pillars:

  • We believe every student deserves equal access to resources and opportunities. Whether it’s funding field trips, supporting mental health initiatives, or ensuring communication accessibility, we work to create an environment where all students can thrive.

  • We support programs that foster creativity, curiosity, and a love of learning. From arts and STEM initiatives to professional development for teachers, our goal is to make H.A. Brown a place where students are inspired to grow.

  • We build meaningful connections among students, families, educators, and the community. Through events, workshops, and community-building activities, we strengthen the bonds that make H.A. Brown a vibrant and inclusive school.

To turn our mission into action, FHAB organizes its efforts through three focused committees. Each committee supports one or more of our guiding pillars.

We believe that collaborative efforts and community involvement make H.A. Brown a place where every student can thrive. Whether through events, advocacy, or volunteer work, our goal is to keep building something FHABulous!
